Natasha Mae Fester Obituary | A Life of Love & Service

In a world where it’s easy to get wrapped up in our daily routines, some lives stand out, reminding us of one person’s impact on an entire community. Natasha Mae Fester, endearingly called Tasha, was one of them. Her life embodied love, commitment, and resilience; hence, her heritage will always inspire all fortunate who knew her.

A Life Well-Lived

Natasha Mae Fester, Born September 13, 1990, had a life full of love, joy, and purpose. She was terrific as a wife, mother, daughter, and friend whose good works touched virtually everyone. Unfortunately, on March 13, 2024, she died at the age of 33, but in her short life span, she made a great impact on her family members, close friends, and others living with her in town.

Early Life and Education

As a vibrant child growing up in Willmar, Minnesota, Natasha loved people. She was baptized at Our Saviors Lutheran Church in Chokio and later confirmed at Calvary Lutheran Church in Willmar, where she belonged. In 2009, she graduated from Willmar High School, where she excelled academically and was actively involved in extracurricular activities like the Cardettes Dance Team, volleyball, track & field, FFA, etc. Her zealousness for knowledge acquisition and helping others made you desire more education.

After high school, Natasha went to Ridgewater College for an LPN degree and Rasmussen College St Cloud for an RN degree before finally proceeding to Mankato State University for a BSN degree. Her academic journey culminated with obtaining a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner Degree from the University of North Dakota in August 2023.

Personal Life and Family

The lovebirds wedded each other on July 7, 2012. Matthew Fester is his name. He was married to the woman of his dreams, Natasha. The couple built a beautiful life together in Atwater before moving to Grove City in 2019. Their union yielded four amazing kids: Mason, Marshel, Maxton, and McKinley. A committed mother who valued every single moment spent close to her family was what Natasha was all about. She demonstrated her love for the family whenever she participated in her boys’ sports events or engaged in do-it-yourself projects.

Professional Achievements

Patient care was the hallmark of Natasha’s career. Her humble beginning as an LPN climaxed with a PMHNP Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP). She started work at CentraCare Rice Memorial Hospital, where she worked as a mental health nurse practitioner from November 2023 until her death. People living with her were touched by her kindness. Natasha inspired others by being professional, empathetic, and committed to positively changing other people’s lives.

Community Involvement and Interests

She also gave back to the community outside of work. She always went out of her way to help others in her neighborhood. She was passionate about supporting their children’s activities and has been known as their number one cheerleader during sports events and races, where they competed at go-karts.

When not working on DIY projects or attending her boy’s games, she could be seen watching demo derbies or stock car races on TV or even getting ideas from Pinterest about such things on her next project that she would start as soon as possible. It led to her becoming very popular in our local society because dealing gently with individuals around us made them love us more than anyone else did.

Memorial and Livestream Details

On Monday, March 18, the community will have the opportunity to celebrate Natasha’s life during her Requiem Mass, which will start at 11 am and take place at St Mary’s Church in Willmar. Visiting hours are Sunday from 2 pm to 5 pm at Harvey Anderson Funeral Home in Willmar and one hour before the church service.
